The word Fitness not only means Physical Fitness but Emotional and Mental fitness too. It means you have the quality of being suitable for a particular task. Fitness may be something different to each person, but it refers to health and overall well-being.

Physical Fitness
To the best of my knowledge, Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, physical exercise and sufficient rest. Physical fitness is important to perform every activity or task effectively and efficiently. If you are physically fit, it may enhance your looks. You will attract people around you. You can be the center of attention. You’ll feel confident in every phase of life. 30% of exercise and 70% of proper nutrition can give you a charming physique. Physical fitness or a well-built physique is not a matter of a few days or months but it is a lifelong journey. Once you get a perfect physique doesn’t mean that you should stop taking care of your nutrition and exercise. You’ve to take care of your body every day.

Emotional Fitness
For Emotional Fitness, you have to be determined. Every human feels some emotions and goes through emotional trauma. Emotions differ from person to person. Emotions like anger, anxiety, loneliness, agitation, surprise, happiness, sadness, etc. are related to the body. Through emotions, you understand other people and help them to understand you. Emotional Fitness is a must for good living. For Emotional Fitness,
1. One must learn the ability to manage and express emotions in the right way.
2. Trying to understand other’s perspectives.
3. Maintain a Positive Connection with everyone.
Forgetting big mistakes and remembering little kindness helps us to achieve a positive connection with everyone. But don’t ignore the red flags!

Mental Fitness
Believe it or not but the fact is, your Emotional and Physical Fitness is dependant on your Mental Fitness. So, you must do prior work on that.
You can achieve Mental Fitness by
1. Thinking positive.
2. By Meditating.
3. Reading is the best exercise for the mind.
4. Practicing to see good in others is the best exercise for our minds.
Look beyond the situation, try to understand the reason behind the harsh behavior or the negative words, most of the time they are suffering too. This will make you empathetic and will help you with your mental fitness. Being mentally fit is one of the rarest and difficult things as today everyone is chasing to be physically fit. One may achieve a great physique but it’s a bit tricky to be mentally fit. Even your physical fitness is dependant on your Mental Fitness. If you are mentally ill, you cannot achieve physical fitness. So remember, it’s important to have a well-built physique, but the most important is to maintain a healthy mind. This generation is focusing more on the physical dimension but always remember, those who have a well-built physique are not necessarily fit mentally. Some people are so fit externally yet unfit internally. But some people may seem unfit externally but are fit internally. So, focusing on your mental fitness should be your first motive. Once you’ll achieve great mental health, then a healthy mind can help you to be physically fit.

TV Shows, Movies and advertisements show us that a beautiful face and a perfect well-built physique are everything. But remember that’s not the standard in reality. Perfect physique exists in reel life but in real life, it’s full of imperfections and that’s okay. Real-life is more good and satisfying than reel life. It’s okay to be chubby or thin. But what’s not okay is to be mentally ill. Exercise not because you hate your body but because you love your body. Don’t rely on other people, even when you go to the gym, the trainer may train you but you have to do it by yourself. Believe me, if you are not willing to do it, no one else is going to do it for you. We might have seen people who have been gymming for several years and didn’t lose even a kg. On the other hand, we might also see people who have never been to a gym but lose pounds in several months. So it’s up to you because you are powerful and only you can do that. You may watch many fitness exercise routines on daily basis and save them on your phone but never followed any of them. Saving fitness exercises on your phone won’t make you fit. My friend, you’ve to go beyond your comfort zone and only then you can achieve your goals. Walking is also a good exercise for everyone regardless of age, gender, or body type. Because walking can help you live longer by improving your mood and lowering stress and getting you a better sleep. It is good for your overall health. But most importantly you have to maintain your eating habits. Eat healthy, don’t stick on the word DIET, with DIET u may die. Adopt the word HEALTH, with HEALTH you may heal. Eating junk can be okay sometimes but don’t make it your habit.

You must respect all body types. And remember the word fitness does not just mean physically fit. Along with your physical fitness, your mental and emotional health is equally important. People with a well-built physique whom you see on social media are not always mentally fit. So first work on your Mental Fitness along with your physical fitness. If you think you’ll be mentally fit only after being physically fit then you are highly mistaken. So, start working from today on your overall fitness and don’t blame the time. It doesn’t matter whether you are working or not. Don’t make excuses and start implementing it. We all must invest a part of our daily time for our health and adopt a healthy lifestyle. It’s never too late to begin something that would benefit us physically, mentally and emotionally.
